now..,Gmail have the mail and contact import for everyone...function was added.,no one will need anymore i think.

I think you should make a habit of cleaning your Inbox along with that you should also try to archive the old content.

Gmail does offer more space. You just need to pay for it.
It's pretty cheap though. $5 per year for 20GB. I you need more than that you can get all the way up to 16TB.
