A Gmail Pop settings does not stick

Hello

I wrote some months ago a pretty simple mail Client which does one single thing: read messages from an Inbox and display them one after the other on a Web panel.

To use it with Gmail, I went into the person’s Gmail box, Settings, Forwarding and Pop / Imap, select Enable Pop for all mail along with Keep Google mail’s copy …

After a while:

I look at my mail Client display: no message displayed
I look into Gmail: he has messages in his In box
I go to Settings / Pop: there is a green wording saying Pop is enabled
I click (again) the Enable Pop for all mail
I go again into my mail Client: he has 24 messages

I did and redid this test several times for the same result.

I feel like the Pop enable function does not "stick" in Gmail.

Actually, the related radio button does remain selected, all three small rounds show up empty.

Does anyone knows how to deal with this?

I must say that my mail Client works well with other webmails.

For anyone interested, the answer is in the "recent mode".

It may be an error with gmail only
