Gmail Filter Forwarding Problem - Help Please

9/14/09 I have one Gmail account where I have subscribed to a number of mailing lists with it and as a result I receive a lot of incoming mail on a daily basis. I then setup some filters on my account to forward certain messages to other people using a filtering rule. The filters are set to forward messages containing certain attributes to other specific email addresses.

After I set it up, the filter forwarding works fine for a period of time. Sometimes a day or two, sometimes a week, and sometimes just a few hours, but then eventually my Gmail account stops the forwarding as it is supposed to. It still is collecting the mail, but not sending it on as the filters are set to do.

How do I know the filters stop working? Because I can see when the email stops coming into my other accounts that I am forwarding to.

Once the filter forwarding stops working, then I need to remove all the filters, then logout, log back in, and then create all the filters again in order for the proper forwarding to recommence. That seems the only way to resolve the issue each time.

It seems there is some bug in Gmail and would like to know how it can be resolved.

You remove all the settings and reset your forward message to solve your problem.
