googles gmail notifier is awsome... now if only they made something that supported multiple accounts and checked invites for linux............................................. ............

Thanks so much!

Over the past few days I had been thinking, "Wouldn't it be so much better if Gmail had an application that checked if u had mail just like Yahoo's Messenger?" and I didn't see it on the "To-Do" list of Gmail, and wondered if it ever would be, but then I stumbled upon this thread. Thanks a lot for the link, and I'm getting Gmail Helper.

this is another reason why i still prefer hotmail over gmail...

the first is the design, which i talked about in another thread.

and the second one is this one, that you will have to download and install many programs from many providers -- which some may not be well experienced -- to control your mail at gmail, while you can get all the programs from one provider, more reliable one like microsoft -- i'm not microsoft fan -- more than and small company or group of people coding for fun or even an amature programmer...

So you're saying Google is a small company. Google is not a small company, and it's gmail program is very reliable. I'm a little confused by what you said.

Dudeif you hate gmail so much then don't use it. Also they are in beta testing so that is no their final product. They are still working on it. I am pretty sure that hotmail wasn't made in a few days. Give it time.
