Don't get me wrong, I adore Gmail, Gmail is the most common web page I visit each day (10 hours/day at a computer), but Yahoo! Mail has its advantages.

Indeed, in some respects, and in some markets, it does.
I look at it as an overall product.
Yahoo mail is very market-driven. I can't even access their mail,
without accepting their corporate partnerships.
In this case, freaking Sympatico.ca services.
They keep restructuring their services to try to force me to use a homepage that they provide, before I can get to my mail account.
It's very much like their companion products.
Yahoo has Geocities. Sure, a forerunner in offering free webspace, but plagued
with pop-ups, banners, and branding that is entirely absent with Google Pages.

I'm just saying that, as a corporate model, Google has breezed past Yahoo, and blown their doors off.

WELL UNDOUBTEDLY GMAIL IS THE BEST.
GMAIL OFFERS 2GB STORAGE WHILE YAHOO OFFERS 1GB.
AND ANYWAY THE SPEED WHICH IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTORS STANDS WITH GMAIL.THE GMAIL SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY FAST WHILE YAHOO IS SLOW
