new way to put labels on

i just got an email and went to put a label on it to archive it and i noticed the label box wasnt there, so i clicked on "more actions" drop box and seen all my labels were in there now. i dont like that. the separate label box was nicer imo.

I just went back to my inbox to see it (I didn't notice it) and yes the labelbox isn't there anymore. I guess it isn't the worst thing in the world, because you can still say "more actions" but I sort of got used to it. Well, I'll probably get used to it soon enough.

are you sure? i just opened my gmail and could see the lables box on the left as well as in the drop box!

um pretty sure because there used to be a labels only drop box on the right but now its just under one menu with all the options like "mark as read" etc. it used to have it own dropbox.

Yea there used to be a labels box but i guess someone must have sent them an idea and they have changed it. I sent them an idea and they changed something. I told them that they should make it easier to delte files from the trash and they did. So I guess if you guys have any ideas you should let them know and they might look into it.

I tried to put a label on an email when they did that, and I have ADD, so I was doing this all by memory, just moving the mouse to where its supposed to be and I wasn't paying attention, the TV had my attention at the moment, and I clicked, and out of the corner of my eye, I didn't notice a change, or a drop-down menu, and it caught my attention. At that moment, the audience for "Becker" laughed and I didn't hear the punch line, darn. And when there was a separate box for labels, I could find the wanted label quickly, but now, its much harder, even though I only have about 10 or 11 labels, finding "googlecommunity" is harder than it was before.

i see a bar on the left side of my inbox labelled as labels and clicking on it provides me a dropdown list of all lables.
