Just moved from Hotmail...
Hi Gmail friends
I just moved to Gmail from Hotmail and I'm a bit lost. I know how to work it and all that but there's a few things that need clearing up please. Firstly, can you get any smileys (emoticons) on Gmail? And secondly, can you change the font and/or colour of your signature? Please answer my questions....anybody!??! Thanks |

Of course, you are sending mail. Whatever is seen by the recipient depends upon what that person uses to read it, and the settings that they use.
If you choose Rich text formatting, you can paste the images of emoticons right into the message. I don't know if there are other ways. I couldn't see one in an admittedly quick set of experiments. I don't use them for mail, myself. The default colour is grey for the signature (to set it apart from the post, I suppose). There's no inherent way to change it. I don't know if Pepper's right about the HTML. I guess you'd have to experiment. |
