if gmail were going to sahut off Pop3 i wouldnt be to worried because ill just set it to foward the email to a free pop3 account and the set it up in outlook 2003 and save the email onto my harddrive and delete off the other pop3 site so i have always got plenty of space.

erm... why is this person statement so ludicrace? it makes sense that with people using pop3 instead of accessing the actual site profits might decreased if used by many, as the member pointed out, not because of server costs, but because of money made from the targeted adwords on the right hand side of the page. You all came back to the factor of space, but it doesnt matter that much, because the more space, the more mail you can recieve and if you can recieve more mail, that probably means google are going to have more impressions and clicks on their ads as more people are going to use it, which means more money for google through adwords.
