Delay in opening mailbox

i've reached only 11% of the quota given by gmail. but even
now-onwards, it's became very slow. i've to wait for half-hour to open
the mailbox. br
when i migrated to google form yahoo, i thought that gmail is very fast. but now i feel yahoo is faster than gmail. br
of course, gmail has many features including mailing with our other
email ids. simply cool! but i'm annoyed of its delay in opening mailbox
since a week before.br

A half hour?? Are you kidding?brNo matter how much of your quota you're using, there's no way it should be taking span style="font-style: italic;"any/span where near something like that.brI have an account that I use for file storage that has more than that in it, and it still takes less than a minute to open.brbrWhat's your connection speed and type?brDo you keep a lot of mail in the Inbox? If so, maybe you could speed things up some by labeling and archiving.brBut otherwise, that kind of time indicates an unusual problem of some sort.br

ya, 30 minutes?? maybe its your pc. Do you use dial-up? if so, thats probably part of it. Were you maybe over reacting about the time?

Eh? Mine takes about 30 seconds to load, and it's pretty full.

I have a noticed a bit of a delay lately as well, but it loads up in, I would guess, 20-30 seconds. Patience is a virtue and good things will come to those that wait...

Okay, I see what happened here. Gamil is somewhat slow on Pentium 1 or 2 or dial up other wise its great i like it
