mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
Have you selected "Remember me on this computer" in the actual account?
I would think that the notifier would recognize the same cookie.

I get the same 'problem' on Mozilla, but not on IE. However, is it really such a big issue to click OK?

If you're having trouble with Gmail Notifier, you can install Google Talk.
It have a notifier implemented, you get an IM and it doesn't take much of resources.

Re: HOW TO LOG IN AUTOMATICALLY ?

You Could install google toolbar and the gmail toolbar extension
http://toolbar.google.com
http://toolbar.google.com/gmail-toolbar
install google toolbar 1st then install gmail toolbar, it adds the gmail funcion to google toolbar, i never have to logon, it also loads gmail faster when loging in by using the gmail toolbar
