I just got a blogger account (fahhem.blogspot.com) and I don't see how its so much better than livejournal. And other have said its so much better tho.

Also, are there any clients for blogger? livejournal has a bunch of programs that let you post through them.

WordPress still beats it by a long shot, if you can get PHP/MySQL hosting to run it on.

w0rd. and whats up with some hosting not providing php and mysql now even for the cheapest accounts. its pretty much a must have by todays terms. nothing is just html anymore (for the most part).

well, php isn't easy to set up (I know its free tho) and the labor in getting it hooked up isn't free. Well, it could be easy, but I spent a week trying to get PHP set up on my localhost, and in the end quit and looked for outside hosting. I'm now using minihosting (well, not yet, still ahve to move pages from old places).

I was using ColdFusion as my localhost and I installed everything where the program told me to, but my php pages still showed up as html and didn't work.

edit: I did get PHP to work, as in, coldfusion said it had the plugin or whatever installed and working, but it never really parsed my pages.

i dont like the blogging service, i think its better to get a free webhost and use a good php script for that
