Suggestions for Ad Placement?

Hey guys,

I have a website that's been aroundsince 2001http://www.geocities.com/michelleseverywhere and after leaving it in 2004, I have decided to give it another try. So I'm slowly trying to regain the huge amount of visitors I once had.

I just started with adsense a few days ago, and can barely make $1/day. Are my ads not placed correctly?

Any tips/suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Heather,
Looks like your current placements are not the best places for Adsense.

I'd suggest that you move the link unit right below the title of your site (out of dotted box) and move the big image slightly to the left, and place a large box ad unit right next to it. So the image should be moved to the left of your adsense unit. You might not like the overall layout, but it will increase your CTR.

I fixed the top links like you said... but am not sure how to do the other thing... meaning putting the picture to the left then the adsense on the right.

You can get different styles from this link.

Choose the one with the image on the left, and it will automatically generate the code for you.

Hello.

I tried viewing the site in Opera, and the top link unit is not placed correctly.

In IE, at the same time, the right-hand ad unit is cut, and only the top ad is showing. This might explain the low CTR

Sorry, I'm not the expert CSS or HTML... You should probably seek help in otherforums...

I like your text ads very musch but you right down ad isnot gona give you anything put it right above or in the main text. Colors and backgrounds couldnt be better
