Lots of Traffic, but no clicks!

Hi guys,

So I have a new music site (about a week old), and I've really been working hard on it. I've been doing everything you're supposed to do -- blend the ads, good placement, link with a ton of good sites, etc. Already I am getting about 150 people a day to my site. Unfortunately, there are no clicks! Can someone tell me what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks!
Heather

I would say the ad's are placed well and suggest to stick with it andkeep working on improving your traffic and the clicks should come.

Well, In opera it doesn't look too good... But not many people use opera, so that couldn't be the problem.

Maybe all that white background is a bit bland... try ads with different colors?

The ads targeting might be problematic. What's with all the boston/MA ads?

Looks pretty good, but three ads in a page like this may be overkill. If you keep the one in the centre of the page, may I suggest shifting it to the top right or bottom right corner of the article?

Thanks guys!

I took out the top links.....and changed around my own links a bit.... then took out the right column. Does it look better now?

What do you think of the colors?

Thanks

My opinion is that you just created the site for adsense. This kind of sites dont go much further and who ever comes into this sites it leaves in dt. You should for start put some css, put some color, put a picture or something nice anyway in, improve the feel of your site in general.
I believe that its not the banners that you dont get clicks is the feel of the site that make your visitors go away in seconds.
imporve improve improve oh yes and put also a nice template or make one anyway.
If you want to send you one find my email in this site http://www.funnyearth.com
Cya!
