Too many Ads?

Hey guys,

Is it true that too many ads on a page can actually lower the CTR?

I feel like theres way too many ads on my page.... especially now since I didnt get any clicks today. However, one long skyscraper is clearly not going to generate enough!

I'm not sure, but maybe if a visitor sees nothing but ads their going to just walk away and find another site...
Also, visitors might not return very much if ads are most of the content.

its better to to have a big rectangle on the top just below your main heading, fully blended in your site colours
