I don't think it's directly against AdSense terms and conditions, but since you cannot control what is in each forum topic that your ad is displayed in, it's possible the forum posts could break the Adsense policies.

I have read on another forum that google customer support didnt oppose to that. Actually it doesnt break any TOS if the forum selected is -- most probably, it will- in a good topic. Again, most of the hacks doesnt show your own ads to you, so nothing to worry about clicking your own ads. Google just dont want ads belonging to differnt people / context senitive ads other than adsense(like YPN) on same page. Thats it!

But, i dont think you will be earning much, since forums have a poor conversion rates and you have to post a lot to get a few clicks. Not worth the time, if you are looking for adsense revenue.

I beg to differ...I am signed up with a few different sites that do adsense revenue and they all seem to earn me decent money for posting about stuff I normally would for free. For example digitalpoint.com I have earned any where from 50 - 100 dollars a month. Thats the big one but there are a few other ones that I post on that I earn some for. And whether they had adsense revenue or not I would still be posting there so at least I get something for posting there. I liked it so much I added it to my forums googlediscussion.net

I don't get why would somebody share his revenue.. he could put his own adsense code there.. I just don't get it.. maybe it isn't, but these seem scam to me.

It's simply a way to get original content for the site. Which is good, if it works.
It makes earning with AdSense a collaborative venture between a number of individuals.
It does seem to be a tough model to make any meaningful money, though.
I'd think that the amount of time and effort it would take to make it pay off (for a contributor)
would be better spent on his or her own site.
