Adsene Arbitrage

Hi, Johnny come lately here.brbrI've recently discovered adsense arbitrage. It's something that I get emails on all the time. "Buy this ebook and make a fortune with adsense." Basically it's about brokering traffic, buying low then selling high. Since I have experience in adwords and adsense, I thought I'd give it a shot. I didn't buy any ebook to learn it, it's really very simple, isn't it? brbrThe trick is to find keywords that you can buy cheap, direct them to a landing page with adsense ads on them targeted around higher paying keywords. Of course, I've made sure to stay within the TOS. Every landing page is actually just an optimized page within an existing website I own. The landing page has very good content, links to other very good sources, and is designed to primarily to help the visitor make an informed decision.brbrI'm in my 3rd month now, and have started 4 ppc campaigns. I've dropped 3 of them since they were not profitable. It's important to note here that the landing pages are still up, since they are a nice addition to my website anyway.brbrHowever, I do have one website that is still doing very well. I'm buying clicks for around $0.25 each, and averaging $1.00 each from adsense. Not to mention I'm getting some affiliate sales as well.brbrI can't recommend any ebooks since I didn't read any on this subject specifically. The concept is so simple anyway. If you can add and subtract, you really don't need any software other than a calculator or simple spreadsheet.brbrBut here are the basic steps (you can probably find an ebook on how to do each step best):brbrFind some related keywords. Sort them by price. Buy the ones that are cheap, then optimized your landing page for the expensive ones. You should try to get a spread of 5 to 1. pay $0.25 for a keyword, but optimize for a keyword that pays $1.25. In reality, this means finding keywords that are showing as high as $10 using the adwords keyword tool.brbrMake sure your landing page is for real. Don't just make one for the purposes of applying this technique. Make them a natural extension of your website that you can be proud of and one that google will proudly index. If you already have a very good page somewhere on your website, just optimize that one for the higher paying keywords. Also use every legitimate technique you can find to optimize your adsense placement. (blending comes to mind)brbrCut your losers fast. After about 50 - 100 clicks (about $25), if you are not making a profit, stop your ppc campaign. Figure out what the reason is. Low click through rate? Paying too much per click? Earning too little per click? Sometimes there is not enough volume to start with. I'll drop those too.brbrOf course, I don't expect this particular campaign to go on forever. Eventually market conditions change, whether it's seasonal or the economy. But I do have a working model, and now you do too. if you're new, you still have a lot of reading to do. it's no simple task to implement each step. Finding a good spread of keywords, optimizing pages, developing adcopy, lowering your cost per click, etc...brbrI'd love to hear if anyone else is having success with this strategy. brbrThanks for reading.brbr-Robert Rogersbrbrbrbr
