Can anyone explain why...

Google does not include downloads of Firefox for Mac in conversions, and therefore no way to earn money from a Mac? I understand the Google Pack software and Picasa is for windows only, but couldn't they allow Mac downloads to count as conversions as well?

The thing is that google isn't actually paying you to get people to install firefox. They are paying to get people to install google toolbar...etc... With Mac that doesn't happen, so why would they want to pay you for something that isn't helping them? At least I think this is the best reason why lol.

There ain't no Google Toolbar Mac edition.. and just like how mystickcal pointed you out, they do not pay you for Firefox.. they feel the business in the toolbar.. WAKE UUUP MEEEEEN!

Right, but that was not my original intent of the question. I know the Google toolbar is just what they want to get people to download with Firefox, but why not make it downloadable for Mac?

They'll possibly make it disponible.. they have widgets and everything.. although, please consider that Macs only take `round 4% of the total IT market share..
