Buy a pre-made site, add your content and publish it. Its hard to promote a site whose content is same as thousands of other site, so make sure that you add your own content to it. I don't see any problem with buying a pre-made site as a template, can really save you alot of time.

That's the crux of the whole issue. If you buy a site, you're getting something someone else doesn't want. Why would anyone sell something that makes money? Be careful what you buy.

Maybe it's legit. You never know.. maybe someone fell behind on their payments to some hired goons ("Bubba & Steve") and needs cash faster than the ads can pay.

Or more likely: the person who is selling the "ready made site" already made dozens if not hundreds of such sites, sharing content and links. This is common. MFA (Made for Adsense) sites are all over the net, and are nothing but spam. Some may bring in a few $, but not much. It's more proffitable to sell such sites to other people.

It sounds like you want an MFA site just to make some money. Instant gratification, with no effort on your part. You want to take the lazy way out.Too bad. You'll buy some spam site, and one more such site will be out there cluttering up the Internet.

You seem to be under the mistaken belief that you have to be a computer whiz to build your own site. You don't. I sure am no computer whiz. I barely know html. I still use Netscape Composer to create my pages, then, clean them up with Notepad. When I first put my site out there back in 1998, it had only two pages. Over the months and years, I worked on that site, and it has grown pretty big. I learned a few things and cleaned up some stuff. Heck, I'm still learning! It's not the prettiest site out there, but a site doesn't have to be pretty to attract people.Good content is the main thing that will keep the people coming back again and again.

Since you asked my opinion, I'll give it. Stay away from the cookie-cutter spamsites. Don't waste your money buying some site on Ebay. It may bring you some change, ora couple of bucks, but if you think that you're gong to get rich, or make a ton of money, you're wrong. Spend that money to buy some books on html, or web site design, and create your own unique site.

Well, you'll end up doing what you want, I suppose. Look, if you want to buy a site, oh well. It doesn't mean that you're a bad person. I'd just hate to see you join the spam site club. MFA sites get no respect, and eventually, Google will come along and shut them down. It may take a while, but it will happen.

mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
It wasn't a mistake to ask for advice.
It just wasn't the advice you were looking for. But valuable, nonetheless.

Sorry, but people that give no thought to an enterprise other than how little they can put in, and how much they can get out
generally tend to be the people that move into the second-lowest rung of the snake-oil ladder.
They make very little money for themselves, feed the greedy, and generally either help to bilk and/or annoy everyone else.

It's a sad and simple fact of life that any avenue of amoral self-enrichment, properly executed, can make you a few dollars.
Slap up a pre-made spam site. Get in on that great pyramid scheme, as long as you aren't on the bottom row.
Hell, just use an automated program to send out spam to every possible email address. Those guys make money.

If you don't mind being loathed, and treated as a pariah.
Just don't act all shocked when that happens.
