Anyone know use RSS to improve traffic?

i have saw some site got XML,RSS to improve the site traffic?
but i not sure how to do that..
anyone got idea with it??
i have found one website using it...in his credit got some company badges like podcast?

well, if you create an rss feed, the idea is that other website
publishers looking for quick content for their site will use yours and
the more other website's use your feed, presuming you've inserted
backlinks to your site in your feed, the more chances there will be for
other people to find your site.br

if however, you want to use other website feeds on your site, depending
on the key word density of the feed, your site will be picked up by
search engines by people searching for key words in the content of the
rss feed you're using.br

Well, Then RSS is quite a good system we should use it. Can you explain more which too to do so

yeah..i understand the theory or concept of RSS feed..
But the problem is that i not sure how to work on it..

some time they say needwat XML file and i went feedburner say u need validate wat..those thing..can give a hand on me ..thanks

I can help. bI have a very basic rss feed page./b br

Then click on the rss icon picture (little orange picture with "rss" letters on left above video player).br
Note: if you can't view the page in the Internet Explorer browser, try Mozilla.br
br
Then view the page source for the feed, highlight it and copy the full coding.br
br
Then open up your computers notepad and paste the code and save
it under whatever name you want (something like "rssfeed")
with a .xml extension.br
br
Then upload that page to your site.br
br
Then use your hosts' page editor to edit out my information and replace it with your own.br
br
Note: Make sure when editing you first make a copy of the working page
so, if you mess up the code, you can begin again from scratch. That way
you'll learn what you can remove and what you can't).br

The <link></link> tags are for adding a link back to your
content if you want to. The <item></item> tags are where
your actual content goes. It could be a video, like on mine, or text or
pictures or both. br

If you don't want to use my feed, find an rss feed you'd like to model yours after and repeat the above steps.br

This is how I learned but I can't guarantee it's the easiest or best way.br
