Email Ads telling friends about a new adsense Site

Hello Everyone.
I had a friend just ask me if he could send an email to all of his family and friends telling them about his new Adsense website.

Is that Okay or is sending this type of email against the rules??

Please help me with your replies?

Firstly, if he is using the term "Adsense site" in his e-mail, that
would mean to me that it is a "Made For Adsense" type of web site. To
me, I would take that as just plain tacky.

If the e-mail encourages people to click and/or makes light of the
adsense ads on his site, that's probably against the TOS as it would be
if it was written on the web site.

It's probably against the TOS, but more importantly, it's just a dumb idea.
You're far better off if family and friends don't know about your site.
You'll see that advice over and over again, along with hundreds of sad tales of how
people have lost their AdSense accounts because well-meaning friends made a pattern
of clicks that were seen as fraudulent by Google.

if possible hide your sites from your friends.if you are earning big bucks friends can get you banned by clicking continuously on your ads.
i never tells my friends about my blogs which has adsense in it. i do have a dedicated blog for family and friends though.
