Is summer a slow time?
OK people I really need to ask a question on how everyone has been doing with their website so far this summer? I am not asking anyone to post numbers I am just wondering if some of you are about avg. or are some of you above avg. or below avg.? I have over 250 pages on my website and would expect to be doing pretty good , but unfortunately that is not the case. I was hoping to be pulling in about over 7 to 8 dollars a day not happening. I have all my ads at the top of all my pages and above the ads are pics and pretty good content as well. They are pretty much popular keywords as well. Here is my website www.impalassz57.com so could someone analyze that and give me opinions. Wether you praise my site or bad mouth it's cool with me. Also I don't have backlinks not sure what those are just need some education. So I don't know if it's just me or if some of you have experienced slowness as well for the summer. Sorry it's so long peace.

Okay. You asked.
My question would be- why would you expect to make money with a site like this? I click your link, I see yet another page that looks like a free directory that has just slapped up some unrelated submitted links and stuck some advertising on it. There's no point in looking at it, so I leave. Sorry, but that's my honest opinion. You have to have real content, and you have to put it on page 1. Otherwise, you just look like a hundred-thousand other landing pages that just annoy people when they show up in search results. You can not make money by merely existing, no matter what the 'programs' say. You must have value to exchange, if you expect to get value. |

Re: Is summer a slow time?
As far as summer money, mine is always down in the summer time no matter what the affiliate or money making program.
You have to figure in the summer: 1) People are out doing stuff instead sitting on their computer. 2) Kids our out of school and on the computer instead of adults and the computer are often locked with kid safe software. 3) It get dark later so people are out taking walks, enjoying the evening air, playing sports and get online later at night leaving less time to surf. Hope that helps Kimber |

Unsure
I am unsure what your site is trying to accomplish?? If visited your site for the first time I would say "next" before the page completely openned.
I would suggest creating an adsense website directed towards some niche product or service. Then whena visitor happens on your page they will beinterested in the exact content your website has to offer them! I hope this help. |

Mine is clearly below average since summer began, but I'm not surprised as I experienced it last year and was expecting it. It is nice to see that the average increases from year 1 to year 2 so the summer of year 2 is way above summer of year 1.
Summer is a good time to develop new sites or improve your existing ones, and have fun outside too. |
