Google AdSense
Hello, brbrI've registered with span style="font-weight: bold; background-color: rgb(64, 64, 255);"AdSense /spana couple of months ago but I can't figure out some things. First of all, when I registered, I had an option for some countries. What are these countries for to get my advertising from?brIf it is that, how can I change it to get advertising from only one span style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;"country /spanand in my language, if it's possible. span style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;"(Greek)/spanbrI tried to find if I can change that but didn't find any options for that in my account. I've sent an e-mail to Google staffbrbut the answer they gave me had nothing to do with that. Maybe they didn't understand what I wanted.brbrI own a forum with an average of 500 visitors a day and I placed the span style="font-weight: bold;"AdSense/span links in the topics.brIn these topics, I have downloads, and it's impossible not to have at least 50 clicks. If I get span style="font-weight: bold;"$1.50/span a day, I'm happy but is that the whole idea, with 500 visitors and growing, to get $1.50 per day? That means the visitors don't like the links I have there cause all the members are span style="font-weight: bold;"Greek./span How can I change it to get advertisements only from Greece and if it's possible from other countries but only span style="font-weight: bold;"mp3 music links/span. These are the subjects I want. From Greece it could be anything.brbrI hope that you understand this and I'm waiting for your reply.brbrThank you.brbr

That might be part of the problem.
(Like you've done here), you're looking to Google Search help for Google AdSense Help. To begin with, have a look at the AdSense help center. You should be able to find most of the answers you're looking for there. (And, I'm moving this from the Search Engine, to the AdSense forum.) |

Sorry I posted in the wrong forum. I couldn't find AdSense forum cause it was second in the row in the title. Anyway, if I found, in the Google help centre, something similar that I was posting here, I wouldn't be asking for help from you. In a few words you're telling me that you send everybody to Google help centre. If you can find something similar with my question that I posted here in Google help centre, then I will appologize to you. Except, if you don't know what I'm talking about and you want to easily get rid of me.
Probably, something is going on here and I don't know it. P.S. I read the whole Google help centre and didn't find what I was looking for. |

The reason that I posted the link to the AdSense help center, is that it contains information specific to Adsense problems.
Some people are unaware that each Google Service- Search, Adsense, Adwords, Analytics, etc. has its own specific help center. If I wasn't trying to provide actual help for you, I simply wouldn't have replied. Now, did you actually click the link I posted? Once there, it's relatively easy to find other links like How Do I Change My Display Language Or the list of other Q & A's if you simply search for language. And no, I do not, as a matter of course, simply 'send' people anywhere. I was simply trying to ensure that you were aware of the location of a pertinent resource. If you didn't find the answer you were looking for, I expected you to post back. Feel free to continue to do so, until you have a satisfactory answer. |

You cannot SELECT the advertisements you want to display, they are chosen by google by reading the TEXT content of your page.
Greek users in greece will probably get ads in greek if there is enough greek advertisers for your page's topic. Visitors living in the UK or US will have most ads in english on the same page. |

I can understand that but what kind of read is that that Google does? I have a site with Greek music and I have about 20.000 visitors a month. They don't care about Share Point Password, Admin. Password, Recovery Password, Invision Power Board VBulletin Board and this crap. They want to click on something associated with Greece. I had 700 visitors today and I have AdSense, Link Unit, Ad Unit all over the forums, I even placed them in the topics so that they can click on it even by mistake but it doesn't interest them. I made 25 cents today with 700 visitors. This is a joke. Why should I advertise Google? Do they give us money. No! They give us peanuts. I'm going to try to make about $100 then stop after that. I'm not going to fill up my site with Google ads for 25 cents a day! One day I made $3.50 but the weird thing was that they had Greek links on it. I have seen sites with all Greek advertisements and in the Greek language also. I asked here about Greek language and they sent me to Google help search. I don't want the Greek language for reading but my advertisements to be in Greek.I haven't found that option in Google. Anyway, thanks guys. The more I write the more pissed off I get. I even sent an e-mail to Google and they told me to go to Google help. They didn't even bother to give me an explanation. Hotshots.

In order to get less pissed off you should give us one or two url that are very problematic to you, so we can look what can be the problem and what to do to improve your situation, if adsense was crap there wouldn't be thousands forums about it.

I don't want to publicise my url because I have my own sources to advertise my site.
As for Google, you might be right, and all these things I wrote, I wrote them when I was angry. I've sent you a pm with my link and I hope I'm wrong about Google. |
