Adsense Video Ads..

Hi guyz,

I just checked my adsense account today and found a new section called video ads.

Here are some samples (provided by google):
https://www.google.com/adsense/samplevideo

I think that these ads can prove to be quite nuissance for low bandwidth site visitors.. Dont you think it'll take ages for the video to stream for a dialup user??

what do you guyz think.. maybe im wrong.. would anybody be kind enough to throw some light on this matter?

Hmm. I wonder if the actual ads have the player controls.
In any event, I suppose a few people would find them a novelty, at first.
But I tend to think that overall, they'd just be an annoyance.

And if they auto-played, or looped, or there were a number of them,
you'd almost certainly be driving people away.

This can be a nuisance, especially for people with low connections and low bandwith. Only in Europe, North America and Australia are high-speed internet connections common in homes. The situation in Asia, Africa and South America is quite different. I've got a 256kbps connection, for example. And that's considered a big thing here.

yea i thought so...

even i have a 256 kbps connection n these ads aint creating much probs for me, wonder how they work on dialup connections..

Dont you think Google must have thought about these problems and worked out the video streaming suitably?

umm.. is there any dialup user who would just test the video ads (beta tester.. hehe..) on that sample page (link posted above) and tell me their experience!!

later..
