Is this allowed by Adsense or does it violates the terms?

Hi
In a forum I saw that AdSense is used as a signature. Here is the forum and the post http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r116937-.html. Is it OK to do that.

I'm 95% sure adsense ads in one's signature is against the TOS.

Hopefully someone will confirm this or say I'm wrong.

Remember there are some forums that allow u to share the adsense revenue in your posts. Means, your adsense ads will be displayed on any post that you have made. This is legal but in signature not quite sure!

I think that those ads are put by the Forum Admin and not by the posting member. If it's by posting member, it should be against TOS, not sure though, but one thing is sure, you can not put Google code in your signature.

I have also come through a forum which allows members to show their ads in their own post and it shares the revenue with the poster in 60-40 ratio.

Well I thought it would be the administrator as well. But I looked at the post count from that user, and he/she had around 40 posts. Somebody with a low post count can have a administrator right to modyfy a signature that way?

TOS says u can place google ads to any site provded that
1.that site is in compliance with TOS&PP
2.U have permission from the site owner to display ads on that that site.
3.Total number of ad units,Link unit,Referral buttons,Seearch tabs etc on a single page lies within the allowed limit(3,1,4 different,2 respectively).

You can see that the 3rd is not violated in this case and we can't say anything about whether any of the other two is violated or not.
