i've tried listing keywords for my ads on google adwords. i just want to know whether there is a difference with the search result if i use this: br[computer programmer]brprogrammersbrbr

Most definitely.

All results are based on exactly what you enter into google search query.

So the answer to your question is yes, the results are different.

Your ad that contains the keyword [computer programmer] will show up for that exact phrase.

Your ad that contains the broad match of 'programmers' will show when any phrase that contains the word 'programmers' in it is searched for, like:

quality programmers
video programmmers
programmers blog
programmers suck
amateur programmers

etc.
