Can you make money with adsense using a free webhosting site

I hav my site with googlepages.com http://ashshek.googlepages.com[/url] I haven't made much money with adsense. What I wanted to know is can I still make money if I improve the content or if I optimise it (search engine)? Is there any disadvantage of using a free web hosting provider?

Does the websites hosted with free webhosting providers get lower ranks?

Free website sometimes get a lower pagerank, But if you working hard, then your free sites will be get a higher ranks!

Free hosting may result in lower PR. But why you worrying about PR if you want to earn with Adsense? It has no point there.

Just improve the contents more and more and get more traffic. Your earings will improve accrodingly.

I visited your homepage and found only links on it. Google will not pay you much just for links. You need to put some contents too on your homepage, like introduction of your site or about the services you are providing etc.

Its not that free hosted sites will earn less money. There is no rule in google adsense that you must use paid service to earn more. And there is also nothing like different CTRs or CPMs for free users and paid users. Blogger is also a free service, though many blogger users are making good earnings through adsense. Your earnings only depends upon your site traffic and ads placement.

Free websites are certainly no limitation to Adsense income. I started
http://gedichten.atspace.com
a year ago and within a couple of months it was a hype in the Netherlands. It's a good example of how a free website (put together with minimal efford) can make a good income.
The only limitation of free websites are the low bandwith. And with Atspace for example, its offline a couple of times per year.

In my opinion, try to improve the content and then make optimize the site for search engine to catch up your site. Then you will get more traffic from viewer.
