How do I get better targetted ads?
Hello to all
I have a blog which is starting to get some traffic. The problem is that the CTR is very low. When I look at the ads that adsense is serving up, they all relate to blogging. I have tried section targeting to remove the sidebar from adsense consideration, but to no avail. My blog is about making money from your blog. Therefore the word blog appears a lot in my posts, and I assume that is why I am getting all the blog related ads. Any tips on how to get better targetted ads? Any suggestions are greatly appriciated.. Thanks for your valuable time... |

Well, there are several possibilities.
First, you may try to use 'blog' a bit less... Try to use words that are more related to making money with blogs - such as AdSense, or affiliate, etc. You may try to use headers and page URL titles that contain the good keywords you want, and don't put 'blogs' in them. Other than that, remember that usually Google does a good job. If they decide that the blog ads are the best for your content, than maybe it is so, and money-making ads will actually make you less money. It may also depend on geography, or the advertisements available. Check your site from another country, maybe the ads are different. |
