Number of ad units per page
I've read that it's best to limit the number of ad units you display on a page because the highest paid ones display first and by showing more you risk people clicking on low paying ads rather than high paying ads. I went ahead and put the max of three on my site (http://dangerouslyfun.com) and I will test out fewer ad units after I collect some data but wanted to go ahead and get your opinions.

More ad units is probably better, especially for long pages. It's true that the ads in your 3rd unit are likely to pay less, but better that than nothing, right?
Additionally, Google's inventory is growing at a fast pace. It's likely they already have more than enough ads to serve in 3 ad units. |
