Ad not appearing

Hi, I have just been looking through my adword account and my ads are not showing because I will or have exceeded my daily budget.

SO I went to change my daily budget, and then clicked "view recommmend budget" and it found that my budget was fine...

I only did that today, is there a delay? Or have I got to do something else? Maybe I am daft but this whole adwords is not straight forward.

cheers

The ads need approval. Anyway did you contact adwords support?

What time of day is your ad disappearing

A good measure of how much to increase your budget to is to go to the report centre within the API and run a report which shows you the cost of clicks per hour of the day (This is a new reporting feature, and Google only has data going back to feb 1st). To get the most out of this report you will probably need to manipulate the data in a spreadsheet program such as exel - but basicall you need to have a look at what time of day your ad is disappearing so that you can make an informed decision as to how much you increase your budget. EG if your budget is being spent by 10Am you may want to double it to get better exposure. Don't forget (and many do) that the better your "importance" the less you will pay per click.

My advice to all AdWorders is to monitor and optimise frequently.
