Content network - can you see where ads were placed?

We are relative newbies when it comes to using AdWords for advertising our company's products. It seems that almost 100% of our clicks come from the content network. Two questions:

1. Is this normal that most of the clicks come from the content network?
2. Is there any way to see where the ads were placed (what sites)?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi MichaelB1969

1 - Yes, most clicks come through content:

One thing to keep in mind.

When having an ad in content search, your ad is appearing before a completely different audience.

By this i mean:
When someone does a search in google, They are looking for you. If you can place their keyword in the title of you ad, your ad will become more relivant to what the user is searching for, and there for, might get them to take action on your product more than content search.

Content search is the same as traditional advertising, its called interruption marketing. You place your ad on a website, and hope that someone see it and clicks on it.

Basically, you need to test both, Copy your campaign in to a new campaign , Have one with and one without.

Also, if you are split testing your ads. turn it off. this will skew your results.

2 - As far as i know, No, You can not track your ads.
