Smile Adsense by Content and Google search. Which is better?

Hi,

could anyone advise on which is better?

I have an article website that has a moderate traffic but I get an average of 20 cents per click.

Is this amount considered a lot?

I remember when I first started, my average click through rate is about 65 cents per click.

I am thinking of revamping my website and making the google search available on all my webpages.

Can someone advise on whether the payout for google search would be higher?

I think i am not fully utilizing my adsense account yet.

Thanks.

One thing to keep in mind.

When having an ad in content search, your ad is appearing before a completely different audience.

By this i mean:
When someone does a search in google, They are looking for you. If you can place their keyword in the title of you ad, your ad will become more relivant to what the user is searching for, and there for, might get them to take action on your product more than content search.

Content search is the same as traditional advertising, its called interruption marketing. You place your ad on a website, and hope that someone see it and clicks on it.

Basically, you need to test both, Copy your campaign in to a new campaign , Have one with and one without.

Also, if you are split testing your ads. turn it off. this will skew your results.
