New to Adsense, I would like some help

Hey guys! How are you all today? Anyways I signed up for Adsense today, with my 1 week old blog. I've got the Adsense search engine, banner and clickable links on my blog and yet no revenue. I've tried to find a traffic site that could promote my blog, but they either cost or aren't worth the time spent. I need help generating traffic to my blog, to help me get off to the right start in this program. I also wouldn't mind having a few tips told to me. Thanks a million for any responses!

You need to do alot of work.
Some people can go months and only make a couple of dollars.

Your best bet in to invest time a bit of money, and research
the quickest and easyest way.

Some quick tips
You need to be:
- posting on forums, and have links to your site.
- start capturing visitors emails address.
- Get high u pin the free listings.
- write articles, and post them on free article sites
with your signiture linking to your site.
- start link building.
- start list bilding.

A great starting point, which is where i started, is
at the link in my signiture below.

After you read Adsense policy, start learning SEO and make sure you understand the Google and Adsense policy and regulations. Because if you do not comply with them, you will get ban from both and you will never be able to earn any penny from Adsense.

You can add your blog url in web directory, add comments in blogs, more posting in forum with signature links and many more ideas to get more traffic to your websites. The best way of getting traffic is to use adwords is the paid traffic to your website to get more traffic to your website.

You can start building links. Posting in article directories gets you one way links as well as traffic. Comments in relevant blogs will fetch you traffic. Also build some more blogs in Wordpress, Blogger etc and link to your main blog.

Here is a good guide on how to make money with adsense. First, you have to create a content rich site with good design. Then you add adsense, play with layout. Then you do seo and drive traffic to your site. Once you are good, you can experiment with driving cheap traffic in with adwords and monetize with adsense (see here for difference between adsense and adwords).
