Keywords bids

Hello,

I have a website about domainextensions, and im working with adwords now.
Now I have some domainextensions like .tv .biz .gl .bl .
Yesterday I ad this keywords to my campaign and my bid was 40 ct per click.
Today I checked again and google said I must bid at least 4 euro's per click!!

WTF?
Why cant I just choose my own keywords and bids?
I really dont get it!

Can someone help me?

I'm sorry if I don't fully understand the question, but perhpas it is just a freak accident of the market and some other advertisers came in and bid up the prices?

Your minimum bid prize will depend on the other advertisers bid and it is change in time to time.

No i dont think so..
Because if i typ my keywords in google i am the only one who advertises with that word!
So if i am the only one, why should i pay so much?
