Is it legal to give ur publisher id to others

I am a noob to google adsene program. I have been looking for ways to improve traffic and revenue.
There is a site on the internet which offers to share its revenue if u contribute in the site forums, articles and diggs.
This site wants us to give our publisher id.
Is it legal guys?

Plz help me i am new to this stuff and dont want to get banned

How does it work?
Are there any chances of fraud?
Can i keep track of it?
Can i request google to change my publisher id?

Google have a special programmes for adsense income sharing site. Therefore you can give your adsense publisher id for adsense income sharing sites. and also any one can find your adsense id using your web page source codes.

However you can't change your adsense bublisher ID whenever you want.
