Rotate ads and Overture

I was just wondering what "rotating ads" and "Overture" mean?

I don't know what is the real meaning of rotate ads but i have read in some sites,, Rotating Advertisement or Rotate Ads is used to randomly rotate your banner ads, text ads, etc... for example,, you have 3 banners, that 3 banners will rotate randomly by programming it in PHP...

Overture is a keyword suggestion ranking tool that checks how many searches per month/day of a specific keyword...
