How to put ads?

How can I put my ads to my left or right side because my when I paste my code it always appears on the bottom or top portion? I dont know much of html and also I would like to know how to give emphasize on words or just I have to make it bold in order for advertiser to notice the content?

What is your site, do you use blogger.com?

In New Blogger:

- just drag the "adsense" element on side bar par of your page and save changes.

In Old Blogger:

- you got to copy or cut the whole adsense code (make back up first of your settings)

- then look for "sidebar" section on body part of your code, paste the adsense code on your desired place (like under the "Profile section" or anything like "Archive")

- preview first to see changes before you save changes.

select first what kind of ad your gonna put? what style is it? then place it in the left side of your page of in line with text
