special characters in adwords

Hi Guys

Does the adwords system pick up on special characters.

Example:
is 'black-berry' the same as 'black berry'
and 'blackberry.com' the same as 'blackberry com'

Does google see the - and . within the keywords.

i believe using some of these types of characters get you banned from AdWords.. According to their guidelines...

AFAIK, they don't give credits for those special characters.. But am not really sure About it.. I guess you need to read their TOS first..
