GA account reach $1000 a day. Scams???

Just found on the Google Adsense testimonial page said that some of the GA account owner reach $1000 a day. The site sound like home builder or ask the builder (i don't remeber the exact site). Do you think is true story or just a scams?

Very large web sites that have 100,000 visitors per day ... but how many sites like that are there. It used to be easier to make thousands in AdSense revenue. Take a look at for example this page AdSense revenue. Perhaps you have heard of the shoemoney website. If you look at their stats, you will see that advertisers used to pay more too. People used to get that kind of revenue using so called AdSense arbitrage. Google it up. This does not work today cause Google bans accounts that engage in that practice. The good golden times when average Joes used to make thousands in AdSense revenue are gone.

Shoemoney does something like $500k/month ,and there's quite a few websites from my understanding that do over $1m per month, so $1k/day is definitely attainable.

Chances are that the website master has got more than one website under his belt. $1000 is a lot of cash, even if you had a website that get 1,000 of unique hits per day.

I'm new here. Just curious. I have read countless "scams" on the net sucking people in who are legitimately trying to supplement their income. Can ANYONE tell me if there is a "legitimate" venture online for someone who can type well, and interested in making a supplemental income to take care of his/her family.
This is an honest legitimate question.

My opinion - it is possible to make $1000 per day with Adsense, but a majority of people that say they do are scammers. Those that make good money generally are not in a position to boast about how much they earn, or have any desire to do so.

In reply to the last question, build yourself a site buy a domain, buy some web hosting and install wordpress, then start writing. There is still plenty of room online for new sites. Just focus on a niche (topic) and stick to it, become an expert.

It really depends , some guys make well over $1k a day with adsense.

The guys that do then write books on how to do it ,and usually make more money selling the books

.

The problem is choosing the correct monetization path for a website, and keeping control over everything. Adsense may be your best bet, but there's other options like going directly to an advertiser ,ect.
