Can I have more than one website on one adsense code?
and also is it possible to have more than one adsense bar on one page, if so what are the steps to doing so.

you can have 3 adsense ads and 2 search bars ads per page...

yes, and you need to add the adsense code in different places of the HTML code of your webpage.
You can of course use 3 different formats of adsense ads in 3 different places of your webpage.

Surely you can add to many different sites.

If you get familiar with your adsense account you will find there the option to use channels.

Channels are used to track different sites or different adsense units.

P.S.: in my signature there is a link to a very useful adsense handbook.
