1 main thing to consider ...

1 thing i would like all of you guys / gals to consider ... and I'm being highly serious.

When creating an adsense driven site .. DON'T base it around google and hope for a high ranking .. you wont ( or very rarely ) get it !

Instead aim for high results on MSN .. you'll have a better chance

for example... 1 of my sites is listed on msn #1 for quickly eliminate stress
out of 589'272 results !

on google its not even on the 1st page !

Now with MSN they still & will for the foreseeable future read the robots meta tag.. google has slowly stopped reading this

hence on MSN i have over 1466 pages for that domain indexed.. and a lot less on the big G

to submit your site directly to MSN go to :

needless to say all of my sites are aimed at MSN

Well getting good ranking in MSN is much easyer then in Google. This is good for new sites but I must say that 80% of my traffic comes from Google. MSN and Yahoo are down to 18%. It's good to aim at MSN especialy when U have a new site but still Google gives more in a long therm period if played good.

I see in my webstats that MSN slowly has more and more refferals to my website. I must admit I didn't pay so much attention to it until now. Nice tip Adsense Coach.

If you want to improve your rankings in MSN and Yahoo, start a Blog.. Its free..

For anyone who isnt aware of Blogs, they are basically a online diary.

Go to Blogger http://www.blogger.com and open up a blogger account.
when you are setting it up make sure you have the settings set to "yes" for every setting and have the archiving set to weekly.

adjust the template to include some links to your other sites, or mine , .

Make sure you write down the user name and password somewhere.

Go and download the Google Toolbar, http://toolbar.google.com install it .
Make sure you have the little orange B showing that is your Blogger box.

go to your my.yahoo account (open one if you dont have one) and add content . click on the "add RSS" link.
in the space put in the website address for your blog and add "atom.xml" at the end.

http://yourname.blogspot.com/atom.xml

This will make anything that you post in your blog show when u log into your my.yahoo page.

do the same with MSN.

ok now to work..

go to your home page..
click on the Blogger box that is up in the toolbar and enter your username and password..

a box should appear with some of the page you are on already in it.
either add more stuff from your home page there or just leave as is.
"publish"

now go to http://pingomatic.com/
put in your blog address and name ,tick all the boxes and click on "submit pings".

You can do this once a hour or once a day, it will bring MSN and Yahoo around , which is great if they havent visited and even if they have the more often the better.

I hope this explanation helps, its a bit long, but there are whole books on blogging to improve your sites position in the search engines.
