Adwords ads refused on principle, yet competitors continue to advertise!

Hi,
I set up an e-commerce site a couple of months ago selling electronic cigarettes.

You may argue the pros and cons of these products, but that's not what this is about. Google Adwords have refused to display my adverts on principle, arguing that electronic cigarettes are against their policy.

That was obviously a bit of a blow to me, as I have spent considerable time and money building my website. However, I suppose I have to live with their decision.

What I don't feel I should have to live with is that any number of websites who sell exactly the same products that I do continue to display their adverts on sponsored links all over Google.

All I'm asking for is a level playing field. So, preferably I'd like Google to display my adverts too, or, if that's not possible, they should at least be true to their word and stop displaying the adverts of my competitors, too.

I'd be interested in anyone's opinions.

Google Adwords rules and terms is not allowing your content but others are may accept your ur ads.
