Domain needed?

Heard rumors that only sites under a domain can be accepted. Seen subdomain sites with Google ads, though.

Is there any truth with that saying?

Well mine is a proper domain

www.studentsintheuk.com

But I've also seen sub domain websites with google ads!

I know that many persons use adsense in free blogs
sites like blogger.com (that is owned by the same
google), so I am not sure you need your own domain
name in order to apply for adsense services.

I have my domains and requested to join adsense
providing one of my websites with its own domain
anyway so I cannot be sure.

My adsense account was first accepted for a free webs account. My next sit is going to be on a subdomain and its going to be my biggest side yet. I had a site on the same subdomain before and google didnt say anything.

google definetly allow adsense on subdomains as on blogger i had adsense and there's an article about adding adsense to your blog
