Hi:
I currently run a healthcare clinic and have been an Adwords customer for a few years now. I've found my expense has been fairly high and success (CT rate vs Impressions) has been fairly low. CT rates of around 1% on average. I don't do e-commerce and am looking to draw strictly local business. I have a regional campaign set up targeting local cities, and a locally targeted campaign which is a scaled-down version of the regional. Would I be better off to go locally targeted only for my specific needs and shut down everything else? Currently my max bid on my regional campaign is about 3x what my local campaign is. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Last edited by taterchips; 03-06-2009 at 04:26 PM. |

I had posted a response about it, but for some reason it didn't post?
#1 - Run AT LEAST 3 ad variations, don't get it too watered down , but get enough so you could atleast test 10k impressions to see what has a higher CTR, and higher CTR , google *Should* drop your CPC/increase ad ranking. #2 - Test headlines in ads , a great headline can daramaticly change CTR #3 - Try dynamic keyword insertion as a headline/ad text, that usually helps as well. You can PM me the keyword and I can do some research, it might be a good idea to do some site SEO to get your ranking up in organic results. A #1-#4 result would be even better than a sponsored one. |
