I thought to share this social networking and ad targetting information. Maybe this will help other it's an experiment my father has done to drive traffic in adwords.

Hi all, I have done some new experiments and testing of demographic selections. This time the data is extensive and I am currently putting it all together so it makes simple sense... I made a fun. jk

The experiment I have conducted this time took a week and was testing demographics, age, class. It was conducted for adwords only with a budget of only $25.00 per ad set. In total I have about $200.00 into this test and I think it turned out very well.

This also means however there is much more data then I thought I would have. Over the next week I will be posting it to my blog.

Been testing keyword vs. keyphrases over the last month. I posted the data to the group on goofbucket.com. But thought I would also snippet here.

I started with (2) two coupons one from google adwords for 25.00 and the other from live adcenter for 50.00. I set both accounts to spend the 25.00 over a one month cycle, at the spend of .05 per click. Very low but it's not clicks I care about for this test.

Impressions are the target for this test. I got 62,000 impressions with the keywords women, meet, share, and find, on google with 490 clicks. On adcenter (live), same ad with the same keywords I got 120,000 impresssion with the full 500 click that the buy allowed. Now keep in mind live is much smaller then google number of impressions is skewed however it is the keywords that interest me.

At the half way mark I change the keywords to key phrases, example I combined meet, and women to the keyphrase, 'meet women' in the second half. This is when the majority of the impressions and clicks came in.

Begin reading the full series of these reports on goofbucket.com but I will still post snippets of all studies here, as I do them.

get your word out, personally I do not like to spam this is why I try not to put a links to my own sites unless it's to hard to explain the content. If the content is interesting on your posts or blogs, traffic will come, maybe slower but at least I know they are there for the content and the bounce rate will be lower giving better page ranking, more time on the site. I have one site built 3 years ago that I have done nothing with yet tracking indicates it get about 250 hits a day. Fine with me for 2 days work. Plus including your link on every post on every board you visit will mark the site as spam. I have tutorial on this on goofbucket.
