Question Number of Keywords

Hello all,

I am new to the community, and adwords. I have recently been appointed to help my company with marketing. The question I have is about the number of keywords that is most effective. I was told by my current supervisor that he has found many answers to this. Google lists no more than 20 should be used, but he wonders is this just a ploy to get us to take up less space? Does using too many really cause your ads to be less effective? Or, should you use as many and whatever keywords are relevant?

Nowadays, google simply ignore meta tags for keyword. The best way is to target your main keyword and include it to your domain, title, and contents.
