Advice About Google Adwords Management
this article from:Google Adsense and adword
Google adwords management is a pretty sensitive issue, some advocating the service, whilst others believe it is more cost effective to learn the google system an run campaigns personally. What happens if you are an online business owner trying to push your business forward working ridiculous hours every week to make your business successful. You do not have time to study and learn the system so you have two options, one just do it yourself or two simply pay a consultant. In my experience those who try to go it alone without learning the system will end up spending more in advertising fees than they ever would have done on a google consultant. The problem is that there are some companies out there that are simply after your money. This makes life difficult for honest hard working adwords managers who have to pick up the mess. It is because of this that I want to share some simple advice with you if you are considering hiring a google adwords manager. Hopefully this advice will save you a lot of time, money and stress. There is not enough knowledge out there about the services and how they are delivered hopefully you will gain an insight today. Firstly adwords is a complex procedure if you want it doing right and you want to drive your clicks as far down as possible. Due to this you may not see any real results within the first month or two, so be patient. Secondly please do not enter into any contract longer than a month. I have had many clients who have previously signed up with a company for 3 months and found themselves with a huge bill. There is only one reason a company wants to sign you up for a month and that is to drive your advertising costs up, which they will obviously take a percentage of. Thirdly don't think you are going to get a good adwords manager for peanuts. If your campaign is set up correctly it will take time, those of us who know how to work the system will know just how long it takes to set up a campaign and because of this charges may seem steep but trust me this stuff is time consuming. My best tip would be to look for a consultant who charges a fixed amount for their services, so you know exactly what your getting and you should pay for no longer than 1 month in advance, then if your not satisfied with the service you can stop it at any time. A quality, honest google adwords management firm can be priceless to your business. |
