Hey, I am a newbie when it comes to niche portals. And honeslty i have no idea what they exactly are. I was wondering if someone could possibly give me a walk through with regards to developing one. I am good with html and website design, but dont completely understand what u need to make a niche portal. Thanks.

First, identify a niche. Then, define what you want to do. A portal could be anything from a blog to a forum, to a 'true' PHP-Nuke style portal.
