OTOH getting information from some 3rd party and not knowing whether it's really true is a good way to get banned

It's always good to read the TOS. And they won't ban you for asking a question.

No you can not. You break the TOS if you link to copyrighted material or you link to sites that distribute material AKA torrents.

Why do i know? I run a p2p site and i have been banned becouse i had a page that listed torrent sites. Once i removed the ads from the pages my site was reinstated.
