Can I put adsense code in a javascript include?

Can I use put adsense code in a js file and do <Script src="adsense.js" type="text/javascript"></script> in my html file? In this way, if I need to make changes to the adsense code, I can just make change in one file and it'll be effective in all the html files that include the adsens.js?

Has anyone tried this before?

No. Without special permission from Google, you can't modify the AdSense code. The best way to do what you describe is with PHP includes or SSI.

Well, putting the Adsense code into a JS file isn't really changing the code. Ask Google if you want to know.
