Change some of the content
I'm no expert, but if you have 30000 clicks on your ads, and you earn $3500 it seems like you have optimized your page for the "wrong" keywords.. by wrong I mean keywords that's cheap fr advertisers to buy. You need to optimize for other keywords that are more expensive for advertisers to buy.. e.g "Automobiles" is less searched for than "Car" so optimizing a page for the word "Automobiles" will generate less money, than optimizing your page for the word "Car"
Don't know if this was the best answer, or if you understood my english, but I gave you an answer.. But if you actually earn $3500 a month from your google ads, I really don't see your problem here That's more than an average monthly salary.. Maybe you could teach me to build pages that generates that much ? |

$3500/month eh? Tough life...
honestly, it depends on your site and the type of traffic you're getting. I like to boast about my 6% CTR but I don't get anywhere near that amount of traffic. Why don't you tell us a bit more about your site so we can give you some input. |

Freak, it sounds like your site has the potential to make much more than $3500. If you only get 11 cents per click with Google AdSense, you may want to experiment with a few other ad networks. From the looks of it, you'll do better with a contextual ad network rather than a CPM network. The Yahoo Publisher Network is known to pay $1+ per click. Although YPN's ads aren't as targeted as AdSense, you may be able to earn more with their high payouts. You can also try some private advertising. This usually earns you the most money because there is no ad network taking a cut of your earnings.
mazefreak123 - No it's not enough. I'm guessing that Freak's website is his full time job, not just a hobby. So just like a worker in a factory would try to get a promotion and earn more, a webmaster constantly strives to monetize his website better and earn more. Plus, Freak probably has a good deal of expenses such as a server, advertising, any employees, etc. |
